AgeQuest provides consultation services to family members and other caregivers. The focus is on understanding needs, evaluating options, making a plan, and monitoring its effectiveness. The older person can be involved at the discretion of the family. The goal is giving caregivers the information and tools they need to help. Examples of caregiver support activities are listed below.

Information and ReferralThe long term care system can be challenging to navigate – even for seasoned health care professionals. Once we understand your n eeds and preferences, we put our contacts and experience at your disposal, and answer questions you have about service providers, eligibility and cost. A typical one hour session can save a caregiver six to eight hours of phone calls.

Caregiving Tips and ToolsCaregiving is not a skill that comes naturally to everyone. We can provide caregivers with practical information they need in order to understand the diseases and conditions their loved ones are facing. Information sheets, support groups, books and other publications and helpful websites are some of the tools we use to help.

Ongoing Support At AgeQuest™, LLC we understand that caregiving is not an activity with a finite beginning and end. In individual or group support sessions, we help family members explore the challenges of caregiving – both practical and personal. In addition to our own support programs, we maintain an updated list of those offered by other agencies in the area.
