Eldercare concerns affect businesses throughout our country. Over the next ten years, the total number of employed caregivers is expected to increase to about 15 million. Workers in the 35-55 year old age group are most likely to be the ones juggling these responsibilities – often your key employees. It is estimated that employers lose nearly $30 billion in productivity due to employee caregiving responsibilities. Businesses can reduce this cost (and enhance employee satisfaction and morale) by offering flexible, practical assistance. Our services include:

Care ConsultationWhen an employee is faced with a new eldercare challenge, the task of developing a plan can be daunting. We meet with the employee – by phone or in person, individually or with family members, at our place or yours. Our goal is to identify the primary concerns, to provide needed information and to help your employee figure out "what's next" – both in the immediate future and longer term. Often we find that an hour of consultation can save your employee six to eight hours of phone tag and frustration.

Education – Let's face it – dealing with the issues in the second half of life is something few of us are familiar with. In a variety of venues, we can provide useful information to your staff to help them plan to help their parents (and themselves!) Our sessions can be provided before or after hours, during brownbag lunch sessions or as part of employee training. The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination.
